In the field of metal processing, steel roller is an important processing tool, and its composition method is crucial. The steel roller is mainly composed of roller body, shaft and end plate. Each part needs to be precisely processed and strictly controlled to ensure the overall performance of the steel roller.
First of all, the roller body is usually made of seamless steel pipe, which ensures the uniformity and strength of the roller body. The shaft is generally made of 45 round steel to meet its requirements of bearing torque and rotation. The end plate is made of Q235 steel plate, which not only bears the pressure from the roller body, but also cooperates with the bearing to ensure the stable operation of the steel roller.
After the material selection is completed, it is the fine cutting link. According to the drawing size, reserve appropriate processing allowance for cutting. In the next turning process, the matching parts of the roller body, end plate and shaft are finely processed to achieve the required matching accuracy.

The welding link should not be ignored either. At this stage, the reinforcing ribs in the roller body, the shafts at both ends and other parts should be accurately welded in place, and the coaxiality of the shafts at both ends and the inner sleeve should be corrected to ensure the smooth operation of the steel roller.
After that, the internal stress is eliminated through annealing, and then the roller is turned to the required size as shown in the drawing, including the control of the roller working surface roughness and radial runout tolerance. In particular, some special patterned steel rollers need to be plated with a hard chrome layer after processing to improve the hardness and wear resistance of the roller surface.
Through this series of meticulous production steps, a steel roller with excellent performance is born, providing a strong guarantee for subsequent metal processing.
